This week, on As Chance Harbor Turns… Faye and Melissa tangled with voodoo hotties and Cassie went Team Adam… for now.

Jake & Cassie
Relations between this once red hot couple remain ice cold! Cassie’s still mad that Jake killed Calvin, the witch that was trying to help her way back when. Jake spent the episode trying to win her back and getting shot down. First, he swore he saw someone in her house and rushed over to protect her. Cassie wasn’t impressed — she put the kibosh on his chivalry by waving a super-powered umbrella in his face. Then, he tried to prove his love by brokering a deal with the witch hunters for her protection. Cassie rejected this move by showing she didn’t need his protection at all, thanks so much. On the bright side, while Jake failed to win Cassie back in “Return“, he seemed to get in her dad’s good graces. Blackwell seemed to be firmly in the Team Jake camp by the end of the episode. Usually Adam would be stereotypical “Father’s Favorite to Date His Daughter”— how weird is it that Jake is the suitor her dad prefers? More proof that Blackwell is, indeed, a pretty dark witch.

Adam & Cassie
Adam’s boatdeck dinner date in “Valentine” was still working some serious romantic mojo on Cassie. She was seriously into him in “Return” and they were a pretty adorable couple. We loved it when Adam showed up at Cassie’s new job to give pointers, and the booth cuddling was Cute Overload territory. Sure, Adam has his usual moments of sanctimonious whining but Cassie dealt with it so we guess we can too.

Melissa & Callum
We’re not sure what Callum’s deal is exactly. Is he a dastardly, conniving voodoo priest, using drugs as his tool to trap vulnerable witches? Or is he an opportunistic drug dealer who just happens to dabble in the supernatural arts? Either way, we don’t want Melissa anywhere around him, and we think she’s starting to agree. At the beginning of the episode, she was all, “he’s just a misunderstood soul” but by the end, she was ready to make like a banana and split.

Lee & Faye
The show’s other witch/ voodoo practitioner power couple had a much better week. Maybe Callum’s sketchiness is absolving Lee or something but the dude we were convinced was bad news seems to have course-corrected himself. Before, he was cuddling up to Faye to steal her powers to use as medicine for his ailing girlfriend. But Lee seems to have developed real feelings for Faye — feelings that won’t let him use her. He broke his power-stealing totem and made out with her, for real this time.
