The Secret Circle Season 1, Episode 17 ''Curse'' Preview Photos and Plot

The Secret Circle has been on hiatus for two whole weeks, and it feels like we’re never, ever, never going to see Cassie and Co again! Okay, so we’re being a little dramatic but we do really miss the show. We still have one more week until The Secret Circle Season 1 Episode 16 “Lucky” debuts, but here’s a crumb of witchy goodness to whet your appetite for Episode 17 “Curse“!

The “curse” in the title refers to a plot twist we did not see coming — Cassie and Adam might be destined to be together but that destiny is also a curse! Adam isn’t cool with that so he suggests that they visit poor Grandma Jane to gather more intel. We’ve missed Jane, so this is good news to us.

In the “Curse” preview photos, we spy John Blackwell making like Professor Blackwell and doing some research in ye olde witchy spell book. Might that research be curse-related? We know Blackwell doesn’t like Adam — we can’t wait to see how this action goes down!

Speaking of Blackwell, according to the CW’s show teaser summary (included below for your viewing pleasure), John had better watch his back: Charles will make a move on him in “Curse”! Considering what Charles did to Cassie’s mom, Daddy Dearest is in for some serious trouble.

Also in for some serious trouble is our favorite sassy witch Faye! Lee’s ex Eva is awake from her coma, and she is not pleased about Faye stealing her man. According to the “Curse” plot summary, she goes into bunny boiler-mode and starts stalking Faye. Yikes!

CASSIE VISITS HER GRANDMOTHER AND LEARNS SOME STARTLING NEWS, FAYE GETS A STALKER AND CHARLES MAKES HIS MOVE — Blackwell (guest star Joe Lando) warns Cassie (Britt Robertson) and Adam (Thomas Dekker) that their love may be destiny, but it’s also a curse. He suggests they go visit her grandmother, Jane (guest star Ashley Crow) to find out if there is a spell to reverse it. Jane warns Cassie that someone in the Circle will die if the curse is awakened. Meanwhile, Eva (guest star Alexis Fast) starts stalking Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) and Charles (Gale Harold) makes his next move against Blackwell.
